Coalition to stop the terror acts emerged around 2000 in the U.K. but continued to feature messages of opposition to the war as it expired three years later. The site featured the tag line
Stop the war - no to the anti-"terror" law!
It may be that the 'war' to which this referred was the so-called 'war on terror', but it's also possible, given the time frame, that it was an expression of opposition to the war in Afghanistan. In any case, the coalition also opposed Islamophobia, which it felt was codified in the 2000 Terror Act.
